Crafty Claire’s is a new and exciting business and I have lots of enthusiasm for the cards I create.
I was born in Nottinghamshire and moved north to the Village of Selston in Summer 2007. I have been crafting since a little girl and started with needlework and cross stitches as a hobby. My grandfather died when I was 13years old, I wanted his craft work to be completed and turned my hand to tapestries, which still hang on the walls of family homes.

Since 2005, I have been creating celebration cards to send to friends and family, receiving a great response. I have created stationery for family and friends weddings, creating a full colour co-ordinating design to suit their requirements. I am flexible to the needs of the bride and groom to make sure their day is extra special.

I have recently started to look at the costs of crafting and realise there is a market to reduce the costs of crafting, compared to the big supermarket style craft shops. All items selected are chosen personally by me, to provide an excellent range of crafting materials. If you cannot see items you require, please contact me as I might be able to assist.

Along with the crafts, I am a keen sports woman, playing hockey for a local team and to maintain fitness I run with my dog (Louise the whippet), swim, compete in various races and events to push myself. I love being out in the Peak District, Derbyshire where you will see me on a Sunday with Louise! I like to be kept busy and have a challenge I need to work towards, a purpose for the year.

The new Crafty Claire’s website was created in January 2011 with the support of Above PARR, which has helped to expand Crafty Claire’s into a new and exciting business.
